Project's main goal is to find effective it-based solutions to assess individual's verbal skills and tailor texts' reading ease. At this time point, focus is on vocabulary breadth needed for adequate reading comprehension of specialized texts in university-level education. A trial adaptive LMS - including corpus analisys software, testing tool and adaptive tool - has been developed and tested on different academic courses. This paper reports findings from a field tryout at Modena and Reggio Emilia University. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Profile Andrea Zini PhD student Research assistant Dept. of Education University of Modena and Reggio Emilia Viale Antonio Allegri, 9 42121 Reggio Emilia Tel +39 0522 523009 andrea.zini@unimore.it Education Master's degree in Arts and Humanities (2003, University of Bologna).
